' No goal resulted but Davey drew a penalty for tripping a few minutes later, Galt rushed to the attack but the bell found the sc re still standing at Oshawa 1, Galt 0. Oshawa Shows How It's Done Oshawa started the second period with a man short and Galt battled for the equaliser, Davey made a good rush but his pass went astray. Osh- awa held the dpper hand and play was fast. Oshawa's second goal came and once again the alternate line got the honours. This time the points were reversed. Lott passed up to Hamel who sifted in close and -pick- ed the far corner with a wicked shot which gave Courtney no chance, Osh- awa 2, Galt 1. Coloquhoun made a hot shot when he caught, the puck carrier off guard Colquhoun later hit Courtney with a hot shot oh pass from Lott, Currie was handed a penalty for slashing. Stanhope circled the net and -all but scored. He then passed out to Rice and the latter had a fine try. Osh- awa kept battling away and finally they scored, Stanliope passed to Rice who shot. Joyce slammed in the rebound to score the goal and he hammered the puck in four times, just for convic- tion.
