ROYAL APPROVAL GIVEN 4 DESIGNS FOR COURT DRESS Debutantes of 1931 in Lon don Wear Long Skits Ter- minating Just Below the Ankle London, March 19--~There will be four Courts at Buckingham Palace during the coming scason--on May 19 and 20 and June 9 and 10,~and the King and Queen have approved the four designs for gowns and trains to be worn. The original designs are to be hung in the Lord Cham- berlain's office for the guidance of the ladies summoned to attend any of the Courts. It is expected British materials will be largely used. The debutantes of 1931 will wear long skirts, but they will not sweep the ground. Instead. the skirt ter- minates just below the ankle, reveal- ing the feet. The design for a debutante's gown is carried out all in white. The skirt is full and flared, hanging in three folds, while the bodice is of the fashionable sheath-like shape, It is cut low in the front with a round- ed decolletage, The shoulder straps are ornamented with lace ruff effects, while the debutante shown in the design wears white gloves reaching to above her elbows and carries a little Victorian posy. The waistline of the bodice comes below the nat- ural waistline, and the edge of the dress and of the train and bodice are trimmed with pointed diamante. The trains at this year's Court will not be longer than twb yards, The other designs displayed at the Lord Chamberlain's office are dresses for older women. One is carried out in a green material ornamented with a flower design in diamante, The skirt of this dress fits closely and con- tinues the sheath effect of the bodice. The belt is at the natural waistline and the bodice falls below it in four long points, or an older woman a gown in End Piles Queik| No Salves--No Cutting Your itching, bleeding protrua. ing piles will go when you actually remove the cause--bad blood cir- culation in the weak, flabby parts --and not ome minute before, Salves or cutting?can"t do thig an internal remedy must be used.
