Even after children reach their teens, they may he embarrass- ed by this distressing condition. That it is due to nervousness or emotional disturbances in the ma- jority of cases is true, and many have been cured by. frank talks by the family physician. Punishments and rewards are not now used to any great extent in the treatment.
