Already, he said, the B'nai B'rith was taking an active part in com- munity work and its associations with the other service organizations had been most cordial. The lodge ast year sponsored a junior ball team and will' do so again this year. It had been de- cided to sponsor a baby health cli- nic, and this would now be in oper- ation, he said, if facilities were available. A bowling league had been organized for the members and gn Oshawa team had won the trans-Canada B'nai B'rith bowling championship. Also the lodge had been instru- mental in organizing a junior B'nai B'rith which is functioning well and a basketball team was sponsored for the junior members. In closing, he expressed his ap- preciation to the other members of the executive, to the committee chairmen and to all the members for their "magnifieent co-operation". He then wished his successor and the new executive continued success during the coming year.
