George Arthur Graham, 90, no permanent address, was charged with vagrancy when he was found wandering on city streets, "I am not going to send this man to jail," Magistrate Donald Menzies said. "Jail is no place for old peo- ple." Magistrate Menzies withdrew the charge and released the aged man.
