PETERS Dec. 16--A, B and C Groups. 1930-2030 hrs.--Films. 2080-2130 hrs.--Moving preparations. Last week saw. the close of the regular parades of the O.CS. at the local airport. Yours truly was down in bed with a cold so he could not attend, which was lucky for him so I hear. It seems that some of the fellows didn't appreciate being men- tioned in last week's column. My good friend, Art, christened my lit- tle gossip strip the "Dirt Column", Films of a different nature were in the spotlight Tuesday; comics instead of the usual instructive pic- tures full of technical terms. The remainder of the evening was spent in preparation for operation "move" which will be executed on Jan. 6, 1948. Yas suh, youse is all invited out de airport to help wid the n'. Dats on Jan. 6 at de ysu'l time an' everyone who can, an dats everyone is asked to come on out and lend a helpint hand, Jingle bells, jingle bells, Santa's on his way. Ccaamencing Jan, 6, 1948, head- quarters of No. 151 Squadron, R.C.A. C., will be moved from the Ontario County Flying Club to the CR.A. building in_Oshawa. Here is a bit of interesting news. Beginning in the spring of 1948 the air cadet parades will be put on a percentage basis. Cadets will be required to attend a certain per- centage of parades. Cadets who at. tend parades over this percentage will be rewarded with flying time in proportion to the number of parades they have attended over the required. On behalf of cadets of the Oshawa Chadburn Squadron, I wish to ex- tend a Merry and Joyous Christ mas to S/L. Beal, C.0.; T/L. P. A. Andrew; F/O. D. C. Hill, Mr. F. Grindley, Mr. 8. Hurren, Mr. G, Slacombe, Mr. 8S. Burke and all who have taken an interest in i important youth movement, the' Cadets of Canada. A Opl. Bishop and Cpl. Fish took another flip up to Toronto last Fri- day afternoon, but the trip had 'ne incidentals that I can turn over to my scandal-hungry readers. Just in passing, Cpl. Bishop won the bet in the moustache competition that was held awhile back.
