PARTY ARRIVES FROM ENGLAND TO VISIT DAUGHTERS Some of the 39 English moth- ers -- and one lone father -- who arrived recently in New York aboard the liner Queen Mary to visit their daughters, who live in the U.S. and Canada as wives of World War II veter» ans, are seen above on deck of luxury liner. One group had been for two years holding dances, bazaars, jumble sales and whist drives in a rented hall in Portsmouth, Eng., to raise passage money. The lone father is Harry Spinks, a retired insur- ance man from Claxton-on-Sea, Essex, who has two daughters living in Canada.
