ORANGE CREAM SODA & CLUB SODA [1] Snowball Serenade Is Festive Event for Get-Together Club The Christmas dance of the Get- Together Club, the Snowball Sere- nade, was attended by some three hundred teensagers who danced to the music of Jim Mathe's 'orchestra at the OCVI on Saturday evening, and applauded Judy Elliott, the vocalist. . Lighted Christmas trees were spaced around the walls of the auditorium in the centre of which shrubbery and a park bench, blank- eted with snow, and lighted with concealed red and yellow spots, made an eye-catching decoration. Small tables with Christmas cand- ing between dances, and a winter scene made' up of trees, shrubs and a rail fence, coated with snow, gave the main entrance a. festive appearance. Among those who won lucky Pizes were Heather Anderson, Joe oltfoster, Jim Reid and Carrie Lee Robinson. The master of ceremony was Ron Hewat. The annual Christmas dance of the Get-Together Club is always a happy occasion for the students who have gone on to university and other spheres of higher education to renew friendships with fellow high school students.
