We want to share food, share ideas and have a nice evening socializing. I hope you noticed the announce- ment of a bake sale at Health Care Centre. Also try to drop in to the Com- munity Care office and pick up a ticket. Someone is going to win the money and it might as well be you. Maybe you could help with the bake sale. Feb. 5 parents were welcomed to view videos used in Grades five and six for Family Life Studies presented by Janet Vandrig, our school nurse. This Thursday, "Lost Forest" Grades four, five and six students at Greenbank and Epsom will view a slide presentation and hear speaker Ian Huggins discuss some pressing environmental concerns confronting our earth. It will begin Feb. 13 at 1 p.m. Parents are welcome. On Wednesday, Feb. 19 students and staff will challenge Durhams finest (police) to a volleyball game from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Students of Greenbank and Epsom will view or participate in this fun activity. The staff of Epsom School would like to thank Joanne Hansen for the time and effort she put into organiz- ing Linda Fockler's tea.
