Mr. Wilkinson was elected first vice-president of the OFA at the OFA Annual Convention in November 1990 and again in 1991. Mr. Wilkinson has been involved in the OFA both at the county and provincial levels since 1979. He also serves as second vice- president of the Canadian Federa- tion of Agriculture. He was elected to this position in Feb., 1991. Most recently Mr. Wilkinson has been an integral member of the group of Canadian farm leaders making their bid with negotiators in Brussells over the General Agree- ment on Tarriffs and Trade deals. The GATT continues to be an issue of concern for Canadian Farm families. They are involv- ed in heading up a Dockside Outreach Program, working with young people in the Oshawa area. We welcome everyone to join us. First Durham Region Computer Day to be held in Scugog Durham Region farm families will have the opportunity on April 7 to learn about and view a variety of computer hardware and agricultural software. The new Port Perry office of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food at 60 Vanedward Drive will be the location of the first Durham Region Farm Computer Day, co- sponsored by the Durham Region Federation of Agriculture and OMAF. The Farm Computer Day will begin at noon and wrap up at 10 p.m. There will be two opportunities to hear from industry experts of how computers can fit into the farm business. The educational segments of the day will be from 1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Commercial displays of hardware and software dealers will be available for viewing during the full length of the hours of the Computer Day.
