Brian Zelke, a vice- president of the Ontario Mi- nor Hockey Association, no- tified local AAA advocates on March 16 that the Wolves had received the go ahead. The next step for the Wolves organization is to find out which hockey cen- tres in the region have extra ice time. Kelly Doyle, president of the organization, said the executive will try to find homes for the nine teams, from novice through midget, "as soon as possible." With the acceptance by the OMHA comes the need for coaches for the nine teams. Doyle said anyone in- terested can get application forms from their local rep on the Central Ontario AAA board. At the 18:32 mark of the period Mike Coulson's goal from Cornish and Menzies brought the MoJacks to within one goal. This too was a power-play goal, after Spencer was assessed a five-minute match penal- ty for face masking. With Spencer still in the box as the third period opened, it looked like 3 ModJacks lose first two in semi-finals the MoJacks would turn this game around. Coulson scored again on the power play, and a few seconds later a scramble in front of the Siskins net resulted in another goal for the Mo- Jacks as they took a 5-4 lead. But poor defensive play resulted in a giveaway of the puck, and just as quickly as Bellwood notched his second goal of the evening, the game was tied again. And laté in the period Pete Verbeek gave Stayner the lead once again, and Walker, with his third goal of the night, ended Port Perry's chance of making another comeback. Big Crowd An estimated 1,100 fans jammed the Scugog Arena for Sunday night's game, one of the biggest crowds of the season.
