It was another perfect evening for baseball and the re- sult was an exciting game from both teams. Pizza Delight jumped to an .. early lead, scoring runs in each inning and managed to hold the i, lead with 10 runs scored as Schildt came up to bat last. Due to the holiday, the Ma- chining crew were short players, but a determined effort got things rolling after a couple of innings, scored seven runs and making things close by leaving two runners on base and the tying run at home plate. Schildt's outstanding players were Justin Sanders who went three for four and had a big hit, Levon Murison went three for four and a big hit and Scott Evans went four for four with a big hit and an important double play that saved a couple of runs. For Pizza Delight the middle of the batting order played out- standing ball with Donnie Sher- riffs, Gregory Hunter and Pierce Jones all going three for three with two runs scored and some fine defensive plays. A great effort from all the players. Catch more exciting 7-8 base- ball on Monday, June 1 at R.H.
