How very true! Trust you voted on Monday, Oct. 26. If you cared even a "whit" about our beautiful Can- ada..a wonderful place to live...you would make the effort to exercise your right to vote...and although a difficult decision to make...you'd do your level best for our fine country - Canada! Nestleton Presbyterian Church (held over) With a good attendance, the regular service was conducted at 11 a.m. with Rev. Wm. Fair- ley in the pulpit. Joyce Taylor was the organist and Russel Brown and George Scott were the ushers. Dorothy Lee taught the Sunday School class...following Rev. Fairley speaking on the Book of the Bible for the week "Judi" in it: the message is that Jesus is the centre of life. Scripture readings were from Jonah and St. Matthew 22, and the minister spoke on "Persua- sions" and how they influence our decisions in many matters of life. We should always follow the influence of God's teaching. Rev. A strong Women's Institute work- er at the different levels of the organization...and I believe she was president of her branch when she passed away. Sympa- thy to her son Alec and the fami- ly. We grieve also, re - the loss of Agnes Garvey of Port Perry, - a good friend to have...and an ar- dent worker in her Anglican Church when in her prime. Our sympathy to her fine family.
