Family Happenings Arthur and Barbara Weir, Nestleton went down to see son David on Sunday, who is at- tending Carlton University in Ottawa. They took Dave out for dinner and enjoyed their visit very much while there! Neta Fish of Edgerton Road was very pleased to have neigh- bor Marg Baumchen of McKee Road for evening supper one day last week and while there a pleasant time of visiting was en- joyed, catching up on news. Shirley Scott was pia- nist, and ushers were Oliver Rohrer and Barney McCabe. Dorothy Lee taught the Sunday School class. The responsive Psalm read- ing was Psalm 62 and Scripture readings were from Jonah 3 and Mark 1. Rev. Fairley spoke of the "Power of God" which is re- vealed to us in the Bible. Caesarea News by Albert Putsey The big news this week is the Firefighters Fish Derby 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 to noon Feb. 6 is only two weeks away. Fee only $10 for adults, $5 for youth 16 and under. Register to- day at J.D. Fishing and Arch- ery, 30 Water Street, Port Perry or Sunnyside Market, Caesar- ea. There will be trailers on the main docks both in Caesarea and Port Perry for weighins. This is a joint effort sponsored by the Firefighters of Scugog both stations one and two. I should mention that these are grandsons of Johanna Urech who probably enjoyed their visit as much as anyone. Eileen Mole has taken a trip to England due to a death in the family and I understand that she plans to stay on for a while to visit as well as to attend to business. [I was in attendance, along with daughter Dorothy Gerrow, at a memorial service at the Oshawa Golf Club on Saturday in honor of my sister-in-law Lin- da Butler who passed away last week.
