Effective Feb. 1 registration will be avail- able at Pineridge Sports on Queen Street and will run through February and March. There will also be a weekend registration held at Scugog Are- na on the weekend of March 5 and 6. Watch your local papers for times. As with all areas of life, soft- ball is not immune to rising costs and this year, for the first time in four years, we have been forced to raise our registration fees. The registration fees for 1994 will be as follows: Feb. 1 - March 24/94 - Single - $50 plus $20 fundraising = $70. Family - $130 plus $40 fund- raising = $170 - (three or more). The additional $20 per single or $40 per family is added to the registration for fundraising tickets which can then be sold to recover the amount. There will be prizes of 10 gift certificates of various denominations availa- ble to win. As in the past those who fail to register prior to March 24 will be subject to late registra- tion fees as follows: March 25 on - Single $65 plus $20 fundrais- ing = $85. Family - $160 plus $40 fundraising = $200 - (three or more). Already there have been some exciting plans put into place for this season.
