They were on several tours, met the mayor and performed a con- cert in a huge mall. At Music- fest they were adjudicated by three adjudicators and were very proud to receive a bronze medal. There were 14 tables at the Tuesday evening euchre party with the following winners: Ray Gimblett, Kathleen Watts, Lor- na Swain, Lill McMahon, Ruby Smith, Grant Bright and Harry Hill. Draws were won by Lorna Bright, Charlie Stapleton, June Wanamaker, Mary Forest, Dor- othy Archer and Betty Kuyer. Plan to attend the retirement party for Ray Ashton at the Rec. Centre on Friday, June 10, if you have had any connection with the High School over the years. Another interesting event is being planned by the Cart- wright High School's Yearbook Committee for Saturday, May 28 when an All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner will be served between 5 and 8 p.m. Tickets are $6 in advance and $7 at the door for adults, with children's rates.
