In Denver, Debbie will be learning the stage production "World in Mo- tion". This surely is a unique ex- perience for Debbie, which com- bines a multi-cultural education with on-stage perfor- iraances and a chance to travel with other young people from all over the world. Sheila's mother Mrs. Hamilton has now returned to her home in Belle- ville. : Ron and Pat Ashton enjoyed camping near Parry Sound last weekend. It is nice to see Ernie Hum- phrey home again, after spend- ing about three weeks in a To- ronto hospital. Rev. Ian Morrison was in charge of morning worship at Burns on Sunday. He will be with us again next Sunday for the 10 a.m. service. Rev. Sheina Smith returns from her holi- days the first of August. Does anyone out there have any news of interest for this col- umn? Re- member, this is the oldest regat- ta in Ontario - if not in Canada, and we should feel very proud! Those in charge have worked very hard so let us do what we can to assist! Blackstock United Service A beautiful sunny morning greeted the folks on Sunday morning when the guest speak- er Rev. Dale Davis returned to the Blackstock pulpit for the 10 a.m. service. Neil and Noreen Malcolm extended a warm greeting to the large crowd in attendance. A special welcome was given to Rev. Dale and Anita Davis by Mrs. Margaret Mountjoy dur- ing the service. v. Dale had a great story - full of humor - for the young- sters, and a warm, splendid message for the congregation - it just seemed like old times! Everyone present enjoyed hear- ing Rev. Davis once again, and really had a wonde visit af- ter the service with Dale and Anita. Scripture was read by An- drew iewasser and a fine duet was great - sung by Glenn Larmer and organist Linda Kyte. Beautiful hymns were sung. All in all a very interest- ing service. Scugog Island United Church The outdoor service on Sun- day morning was enjoyed by all. Dawn Beare and Robin Adder- ley treated us to a beautiful duet called "Seek Ye First". They were accompanied by Elaine Barber on her guitar. Neta Fish attended the Sun- derland Decoration Service on Sunday, where her husband Grahame is resting - had dinner with Doug and Marion - was an overnight guest and returned home on Monday!
