In the baking classes, Elizabeth Peeters won the Royal Bank Trophy for the most points; the champion cake was baked by Joy Rudkin; the champion cher- ry pie by Helen Coates; the most points in canning by Elizabeth' Peeters who also won the Harry Sanderson Trophy for most points in homecraft classes. Howard Hall bought the champion chocolate cake at the auction. The Media Cow Milking Con- test proved to be another favor- ite feature. The three ladies - Laura Pratt of Active Maga- zine, "Suzie Citizen" of Scugog Citizen and Vice-President of Homecraft, Helen Coates, de- feated the three men contest- ants, Peter Hvidsten of Port Perry Star, Earl Thurston of CKLY; and Peter Parrott of Ca- nadian Statesman. The Mutt Show was emceed Perfect weather, great crowds greet annual Blackstock fair by Doreen Kendall of Port Perry.
