On a beautiful Sunday, May 7, Fourth Sunday of Easter, Neta Fish and Ma- bel Cawker were the Junior Kindergarten Nestleton Mabel Cawker greeters at the door. A smaller attendance than ususal. Rev. David Shearman brought an interesting message re "Revelations" 7:9-17, read by Richard MacKenzie. The duet sung by Rege- nia Walker and Shirley Jackson was uplifting with Karen at the piano. Sympathy Extended Our deepest sympathy Pre-Registration Aldon Learning Centre The Durham Board of Education will offer Junior Kindergarten at the Aldon Learning Centre, 109 Burcher Road, Ajax. The program will run all day / 2 full days each week. To be eligible, children must be 4 years of age by December 31, 1995 and reside within Durham Board of Education boundaries. Transportation to the program will be the responsibility of parents. A Parent Orientation Meeting will be held Thursday, June 22, 1995, 7:30 P.M. at the Aldon Learning Centre for those who are accepted into the program. Smorgasbord Very Successful The Smorgasbord held at Nestleton Community 'Centre on Satyrday eve- ning May 6 was a great success with a large atten- dance from far and near. The UCW worked very hard and had a delightful meal for all to enjoy. Our warmest congratulations to them! Birthday Celebration On Wednesday, May 3, Neta Fish of Edgerton Road hosted a fine birth- day party for her son-in- law Jim Leishman of Rea- boro. Those present were wife Audrey and sons Mi- chael, Jamie and William and Calvin and Yvonne Holland, Edgerton Road, and family, Chad, Craig and Alanna. A festive oc- casion with tempting food topped off with a gorgeous birthday cake and also many gifts for Jim. Our very best wishes to Jim for many more happy birth- days. Fair- ley conducted the 11 a.m. service in Nestleton Pres-. byterian Church. Graham Ham and Oliver Rohrer were ushers and the or- ganist was Joyce Taylor. Reading of Psalm 23 was followed by Scripture from II Samuel 18 and John 10.
