Since its inception, the volunteer board (of which there are nine members) have been responsible for raising in excess of $5 million. From the first major project, that being the addition and renovation of the emergency department (The Matthew B. Dymond Wing) in 1984, the purchase of the new a equipment, in 1987 and now : the $5.8 million Stephen B. Roman Addition, the Hospital Foundation W. HOWARD HALL has been the vehicle responsible for raising those funds that has brought each of those major projects their successful completion. As Provincial Health Care dollars continue to decrease for Capital Expenditures, it is vitally important to have a strong, well organized and active Hospital Foundation Board in our community.
