He was 50. The son of Hardy and Mary Noble of Uxbridge, Neil Noble was born Nov. 3, 1945. Mr. Noble lived in Port Perry and worked at Cen- tral Seven Association for Community Living in Port Perry. He was a member of Uxbridge Baptist Church. Neil enjoyed and partici- pated in swimming, horse- back riding, travelling and night school. Mr. Noble was prede- ceased by brother Glenn, sister Nancy and nephews "Dean Cantera and Paul Wilson. He is survived by par- ents Hardy Noble and Mary Noble (Kennedy) of Uxbridge; brothers Ron Noble and David and Dor- is Noble of Uxbridge; sis- ters Helen and Clarence Wilson of Uxbridge, Ruth and Murray Murdoch of Ohio, Vivian Noble of Cali- fornia and Eleanor Cante- ra of Uxbridge. Mr. Noble is also survived by 27 niec- es and nephews. Funeral service was held Friday, Dec. 22, 1995 , by Rev. Murray Stovell and Rev. Rob Denhoed at Uxbridge Baptist Church. Pallbearers were neph- ews Brian Noble, Wayne, Philip, and Stephen Wil- son of Uxbridge, Tom Kent of London, Gary McKee of Toronto and Larry Bacon of Uxbr.dge. Neil T. Noble ~ OBITUARY -~ Leslie Beacock Leslie Ralph Beacock endured ill health for a pe- riod of two years spending four weeks in Port Perry Hospital when he passed away on December 4, 1995 at the age of 81. He loved people and was gifted remembering hu- morous poetry. Time came -for him to leave the family nest and therefore obtained em- ployment at T.J. Gales Lumber, Oshawa. On May 20, 1942 he married Grace Vickery farming in Cadmus area. Later moving to Ward 1in- volved in dairy farming some 26 years. Retired to the village of Prince Albert 1969 and at- tended church, serving his term as a Steward and Elder and the oldest male member of that congrega- tion. Occasionally he would take the Sunday School classes on a tractor and wagon hay ride. In 1985 he and Grace moved to Port Perry. On Mother's Day it was a family tradition for 25 years treating his wife, three sons and family, din- ing at local and out-of- town restaurants. Little hampered him from attending the enjoya- ble "Sportie Que-Club," also the Horse pitching group participating at fall fairs, often being the recip- ient of a monetary gift or a trophy. Les was very proud of his New Zealand born race horse named "French Pass." The Loyal Orange Lodge dedicated an eve- ning service in memory of Les who was a 50 year member. Left to mourn are his be- loved wife, three sons Don, Grant and Bryan, a broth. er John of Lindsay and a sister Olive of Port Perry. Predeceased by two sis- ters and two brothers. The funeral service was largely attended at the Wagg Funeral Home with Rev. R. Le Page officiat- ing. Audrey Beauchamp rendered a vocal solo, "How Great Thou Art." Active bearers were grandsons Lee, Blair, Philip, Craig Beacock, Jeff Davis, nephew Neil De- vitt. Honorary bearers Roy Robertson, Fred Olsen, Doug McMillan, and Grant Hunter. Flower bearers were Doug Flewell, Glenn Bea- cock. Interment in family plot at Pine Grove Cemetery followed by lunch served by U.C.W. in Prince Albert United Church.
