All this while other local gov- ernments in the region are managing to get agreements with no such concessions. Some public employees are even getting modest wage increases this year. Meanwhile, after three years of wage rollbacks under the Social Contract, Victoria County employees are now facing a long list of concessions - everything from pay rates to overtime provisions.
