A panel of local judges - Karen Puckrin of the Scu- gog Youth Council, Mrs. Bernice Avis of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Linda Lowry from the School Board's drug awareness program, and an Uxbridge physician, Dr. Tom Stefopulos - re- viewed the student groups' presentations. "In The Driver's Seat," originating in Etobicoke in 1992, was brought to the northern portion of Dur- ham Region by Communi- ty Injury Prevention, North Durham, a coalition of people and organiza- tions 'concerned with young driver's safety.
