"Our very best wishes to Doreen Kendall for a speedy recovery. She had to undergo emergency treatment this past week and is recovering nicely in Oshawa General Hospital. Sympathy to Lila Faulkner in the sudden death of her step- son Norman Faulkner recently and more recently the loss of her son-in-law Percy Pugh. The community wishes Earl and Elizabeth Taylor the best - as they have moved from their home on the 7th Line to Uxbridge. We will be welcoming their daughter Margaret, Shawn and Joanne Sevier who are moving from Newmarket to live in the home vacated by her parents. Ken and Beth Catherwood of Oshawa were Sunday guests with Ruth Ashton. Milk producers in the area were saddened to hear of th death of Wally Cayanagh Bridgenorth. Wally had rect ly retired as fieldman f Ontarie-Pairy Farmers. They then continued on to visit her brother Donald and family at Havelock. 5 The Evans' families were shocked to hear of the sudden passing of their cousin loon Rennie. Brian Evans conducts the memorial service from Mangan Funeral Home in William, flying to Alberta to attend the Ryall reunion. Stella, Jerry and Joan plan to spend the two weeks away, vis- iting with granddaughter Jill and family. ; Several neighbors were pleased to see Marlene McKay on television on Tuesday morn- ing when she appeared on Eye Adventure Club holding day camp p* --= A summer congregation attended last Sundays ser- vices at Greenbank Unit- ed Church. Mrs. Betty McGee was capably in charge of the music, and Mrs. Norma Brose sang O Come to the Church on the Hillside, to the tune of Church in the Wildwood. Adven- ture Club are again hold- ing a summer day camp in Ianson Park for two weeks starting July 22 to Aug. 2 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All chil- drerr five to 10 are wel- come to attend.
