Jane Reader was driv- ing her 1992 Ford south- bound when it collided with a 1993 Ford cube van at the intersection of Bethesda and Kennedy roads around 9:55 a.m. The car then left the roadway and flipped on its side, sheering off a utility poll before hitting a tree roof first. ~ Ms. Reader, the lone occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the cube van was unin- Jured.
