Police report Two busted in sled theft here Durham Regional Police report that after an investigation two 17-year-old-males have been arrested and charged after stealing a snowmobile. The two youths were both arrested on Feb. 19 after it was discovered that they were responsible for the theft of a 1994 Polaris from Wee Willy's Bar and Grill on Feb. 9 around 2 a.m. One youth has been charged with theft and pos- session over $5,000 while the other was charged with possession over $5,000. Attempted theft | Police also report that an attempted theft was made on one snowmachine on Hwy. 12 near Saintfield. Sometime between Feb. 9 and19 it is reported that someone tried to hammer off a lock and steal the machine. There were three snowmachines in the front yard of the residence, all having a lock and security cable attached. A hammer was left behind and the police are investigating. Mailbox burned Durham Police also report that an Edgerton Rd. man called in a complaint on Feb. 23 saying that his mailbox had been partly burned. Stolen TV A German Park residence in Cadmus was broken into sometime between Jan. 6 and Feb. 20, Durham Police report. The cottage was entered when thieves kicked a north door down. A 28" RCA color TV and remote were stolen from the residence. The stolen entertainment equipment is valued at $1,000. CDs taken Police also report that a Regional Rd. 21 home was burglarized on Feb. 20 when a front door on the south side of the house was forced open. Once inside thieves ransacked the place and dis- connected all the electronic equipment in the family room but did not steal any. Numerous compact Y acs were the only items noticed missing. Money stolen from home An Ottawa St. home was also struck by thieves sometime during the evening of Feb. 19. It is reported that between 5 p.m. and midnight someone entered the home through a west-side living room window by removing one pane of glass and sliding across the other one. Police report that a small amount of money was stolen. Trailer park struck again Durham Police also report that another trailer at Goreski's trailer park was entered by thieves. Sometime during Feb. 18 the trailer was entered. Upon entering, the couch and mattress were slashed and a boat cover was taken. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
