There's still time to sign By Doris Hill Greenbank School News The grades kinder- garten, 1, and 2 are doing Dinosaur research. The children enjoyed making a life size Pteranoden that now hangs in their classroom. They have also made a lifesize T- Rex head and put in its many teeth. Each one has now made a Boxasourus to made paper mache their own Dinosaur. Soon they will display their classroom as a Dinosaur museum and put on a presenta- tion. For anyone who missed Greenbank Minor Ball Registration please contact Barb Ward at 985-3903 or Deb Shaddock 985-8025 to register your child. There are still openings in all age categories. Teenagers ages 15 to 19 needed to fill the co-ed lob ball team. Make sure you register early to be sure of a place on the team. Church News A special appeal for monies is underway on the Greenbank Pastoral charge of the United Church. Church mem- bers and others who wish to contribute are being asked to raise monies for the Healing Fund. The 1994 General Council meeting of the denomination estab- lished the Healing Fund to assist First Nations people with initiatives ll Dental Care Jor the whole family of healing stemming from the experiences of residential schools. Money raised will be dis- tributed to First Nations communities according to criteria developed by representatives of the church's All Native Circle Conference and the church's British Columbia Division of Native Ministries. Contributions from the public are welcome in cheques payable to the Greenbank Pastoral Charge, P.O. Box 173, Greenbank, Ontario, LOC IBO. Please memo your cheque "The Healing Fund."
