House tour's a fundraiser for Town Hall Town Hall 1873 is spon- soring its second annual tour of historic Port Perry area homes on Saturday, May 31 between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. A $12 ticket entitles you to visit and walk through eight fine area residences, many of which are century homes featuring classic furnish- ings and decor. In addition, complimen- tary tea or coffee and tea biscuits will be served at Town Hall 1873 to all tick- et holders. Volunteers will be work- ing as guides at each home and all proceeds will go to the Town Hall 1873 Im- provement Fund. A handy resource guide will in- clude an area route map along with biographies of each of the eight houses. Since the House Tour will go ahead regardless of weather, all tour guests will be asked to remove their shoes at the door of each home. It might there- fore be a good idea to carry a pair of slippers with you. Four of the homes are within an easy walk in downtown Port Perry; two are on Old Simcoe Road in Prince Albert and the oth- on Scugog Island and in Blackstock. Personal Safety and Security We must ensure that for our own safety and security we have a justice system that deals with the unacceptable levels of crime in our community and we must amend legislation to address youth crime. Education and Training Education and Training are critical to ensuring Canada will have the competitive labour force it needs to compete as an equal in global markets, including youth training and the development of individual skill enhancement. in Durham Elect Sam Cureatz Sam Cureatz #4 Your Vote Does Make A Difference June 2, 1997 Assistance Required?
