Martyn's got some solid pitching from Jamie Gim- blett as well as some time- ly hitting by Melissa Kil- len while Tim Martyn turned in his best game of the year with an all-round solid effort. Winter'sStorm 18 Campbell ElectricRaiders12 In the battle of the divi- sion giants the win by Winter's moved them into a first place win with Campbell's as both now have five wins and one loss each. Offensively Steven Delore had an RBI triple while Bradley Sutcliffe had a single and knocked in two runs. Fielding wise Steven Vine made a fine catch to rob the opposition of an extra base hit. Campbell's batting leader was Heather Lee Jones who hit a triple to centre field that scored three runs while Kristy Brooks reached base twice via the walk route. Defen- sively Corrina Bauer made a good fly ball catch in the first inning. Winter's Storm 23 Super Spud Reds 8 This game was the scheduled game of June 12 that was rained out and the Storm won handily as Abby McLaughlin had a big game with three sin- gles as well as three RBIs. Steven Delore got his sec- ond triple of the week in the third inning that scored two runs. Steven Vine also contributed with two runs batted in as well as pitching a 1-2-3 open in- ning to preserve the win. The Reds got a strong game from Mark Morrison who had a triple as one of his two hits as well as bat- ting in three runs. In the field Morrison made great catches in the third and fifth innings.
