This year's team is once again coached by Todd Wilbur, with assis- "tant's Jeff Card and Lee Wilbur, trainer Kevin Hobbs and manager Richard Hobbs. The fine men that make up this year's team are Chris Monsma and Jeff Wiggins who will share the goaltending duties. On defence, returning for a second year, are Dave Justynski, Grant Hooker, Sean Jeffrey. The defence is completed with the addition of Scott Duncan and Matt Skerratt. Up front Matt MacMaster, Chris Skerratt, Braden Tarbotton, Mark Blakley and Jason Whitworth return from last year's successful team and are complimented by Dean Van Camp, Steve Wygerde, Mike Blakey, and Mike LeFort. Everybody is looking forward to another enjoyable year and early indications point in that direction. 'After the long drive - to Wellington the boys got into high gear quick- ly as they jumped out to a 3-0 first period lead. Steve Wygerde got Port on the board followed by Chris Skerratt and Jason Whitworth. Picking up assists in the period were Mike Blakey, Mike LeFort, Mark Blakley, Jason Whitworth and Chris Skerratt. Port added to their lead in the second as they scored two more goals. Matt Skerratt and Mark Blakley were the scorers for Port. Dean Van Camp assisted on one while Jason Whitworth picked up assists on both. It was a "fire breath- ing" success. So far we have 15 new players added to our 40 returning players. We now have four teams, two junior and two senior teams. The teams are based on hock- ey skill as opposed to age. We now have two female players as well. We are still seeking sponsors. We are requesting $300 per sponsor but any amount is appreciated.
