Our Canadian Foodgrains Bank project was harvested on Saturday. The weather was fine, the food was plentiful and the volun- teers were great. Bethesda-Reach W.I. will meet at the home of Barbara Evans on Wednesday, November 26th. The motto: Indebted to the past - committed to the future. Roll Call: If you had to leave Canada, where would you go and why? A very robust candi- dates' meeting was held in Utica Hall a week ago with a very good turnout repre- senting Ward 1 voters. A special thank you to Jayson Callan for supply- ing the audio equipment, Coffee Time and Country Style for their donation of donuts for the event and a special thanks to Barbara Evans who capably man- aged the duties of modera- tor. Ontario North Women's Institute held a very suc- cessful workshop on Saturday. The Health Information seminar was very well attended. Once again, it's time for the Country Decorating and Collectibles Show and Sale, held at Markham Fair Grounds, and put on by Utica's Debra Grose- Russell. The show runs this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Congratulations to Lawrence and Elizabeth Bazarin on the occasion of Anniversary. Anne Wanninkoff is once again a proud grand- mother. Her daughter Margaret and husband Layne Dietsch of Whitby are to be congratulated on the arrival of daughter Tegan on Nov. 3], a wee sister for Kyra Anne. Hillis Wilbur has spent the past week in hospital in Port Perry and I am pleased to hear that he's feeling much better and hopefully will be home soon. There will be a going away party for Steve and Alice Lee and boys on December 7th at 8:00 p.m. in Epsom Church. Join us in wishing them well at a social evening.
