I4 - THE PORT PERRY STAR CHRISTMAS GREETINGS ISSUE Tuesday, December 23, 1997 Cranberry, popcorn strings perfect for our tree From previous page a tree. It was almost too big for the parlor. For decorations we made popcorn and cranberry strings, home made cookies, puffs of wool and candles. Then we went to church. After church we had Christmas dinner. For dinner we had a nice plump goose, carrots, pota- toes, gravy and for dessert we had a Christmas pudding. After that we sang carols by the fire. Well I have to go now. I hope your Christmas was as great as mine. May the holidays be rich with memorable moments. | KEITH BACON Happy Holidays! G0 4 wae Sincerely, your cousin Christopher Braun, S.A. When we put the candles on the tree and light them we don't leave them or go to bed. We put the stocking on the fireplace. The stocking is a sock. I got a wooden doll and an apple in my stocking and a wooden Santa doll. My brother got a wooden train and a reindeer that was made out of wood and an orange in his stocking. My mom gave me a story book and my dad gave me a fishing rod that he made and my mom and my dad and brother gave me two can- dles. My mom and my dad and I gave my brother a wooden twin of himself.
