"People from around the region donated their gener- ators to the ice storm vic- tims and thanks to Rick McCoshen and the Scugog Chamber of Commerce we are able to get a trailer to haul them down there," he said yesterday. "The Durham Board of Education gave us two gen- erators and two water pumps and Scugog's Don Frew also gave a large, 20 kilowatt, generator and a smaller one as well." Each generator, he says, can help out seven or eight families and then they are moved around after about three hours, making sure everyone gets a little heat.
