Four teen volunteers are needed Easter Weekend My trip to the Blackstock transfer station Saturday told me everyone in the district must have been enjoying themselves in the sun with rake in hand. I'll bet there are many sore right shoulders today. Thanks to you our district is looking clean with all the dead branches and leaves cleaned up. I would like four teenage vol- unteers to phone me 986-0181 about joining with me in cleaning paper and etc. from our main street. Alan Tonks Last winter I showed films in my home dealing with the Greater Toronto amalgamation and the planned expansion of the Toronto region, now called the Greater Toronto Services Board (GTSB). At the meeting last Tuesday in the Port Perry council cham- bers Mr. Tonks spoke of our needs to be in this Metro-Durham enlarged umbrella. Mr. Tonks gave a good address and our coun- cil gave an excellent rebuttal.
