Included in these activities is a Saturday, May 23 auction and yard sale sponsored by the Port Perry Knights of Columbus. 4 The annual yard sale is being held from 7:30 a.m. to noon in the parking lot at 1710 Scugog St., Port Perry. If you wish to donate some articles for the event, you can call either Paul McDonald at 985-3187 or Joe Kingston at 985-7022. There will also be an auction sale in conjunction with the yard sale. The auc- tion sale will be held in the church hall K of C plans auction and yard sale at the same location, 1710 Scugog Street, Port Perry from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Local businesses have provided numerous beautiful and useful items for the auction such as sweaters, vases, fishing supplies, cameras, vouchers, and numerous other items. The Knights of Columbus, being a non-profit organization, use the funds from these events to support various activities in their community as well as various charitable organizations. So come on out and support the Knights of Columbus who contribute to your com- munity. 'Social Justice group discusses discrimination The Durham Region Coalition for Social Justice presents a special topic, "Discrimination in our Communities: Solutions for the '90s."
