REO FO ------------ 20- PORT PERRY STAR - Wednesday, September 9, 1998 "Scugog's Community Newspaper of Choice" R U PORT PERRY STAR < IL Roors Congratulations to our daughter Ashleigh Sandiford and to Renee Warren who com- peted in a Lip Sync contest at our place In Bridgenorth/Ennismore this past weekend. Ashleigh, Renee and three other friends from up north sang "Stop," naturally by the Spice Girls. They worked really hard to make sure they all were in sync and to get it ail together and it paid off as they won first place in their age cat- egory. Ashleigh was "Sporty" and Renee, wearing her new Union Jack dress which was whipped together in about 1/2 hour was "Ginger." Believe me, you wouldn't have recognized them with the makeup, hair color, etc. Way to go girls - you all worked very hard, looked super and did fantastic. The community would like to express sympathy to the Currie family, Blaythe, Ann, Debbie and Scott from Robinglade Estates on the passing of Ann's dad, Mr. Robert Marriott.
