The contents are 21- 7-7 and the mixture is 50 per cent slow release to feed your lawn all sum- mer. Last year most of the profits went towards the fence in the Greenbank Park. We have already sold 60 of the 200 bags, so phone 985-3723 to order now and the bags will be delivered to your home in late April. Thanks for your continued support of our local projects and fundraisers. We enjoyed the beauti- ful music provided for us at church on Sunday by Jacqueline, Rita, and Wayne Stickwood. The Greenbank Sr. Choir practice will begin Thursday, Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m. to prepare music for Easter. They welcome new voices and also would like Greenbank: area news by Doris Hill rr to hear from anyone who plays an instrument. Miss Veronica Varggs from Mexico is spending some time in Canada, and PORT PERRY STAR - Tuesday, February 23, 1999 - 17 Thieves grab fishing gear, auger from hut Sometime between Feb. 13 and 19 thieves entered a fishing hut located on Lake Scugog and stole a number of items. Durham Police report that a Blossom Crt. resi- dent had left his hut on the ice near Castle Harbor Pt. and when he returned discovered that thieves had cut the locks off and gained entry. Taken during the entry was some assorted fishing equipment worth $50 and a gas auger. Cottage entered Police were called to a . Cadmus address recently after thieves broke into an unoccupied cottage. Police report that some- time between Feb. 8 and 20 thieves gained entry into the Birkenweg St. cottage. Once inside they stole a Sears VCR valued at $400 and four bottles of booze worth approximate- ly $80. spent a day recently with Jean and Neil Hunter.
