Stephen Aked and daughter Cassandra were in Victoria, B.C. for 10 days last week, attending the wedding of his sister Heather. Utica & Epsom by Cassandra had the honour of being junior bridesmaid. They had a great time visiting with relatives that had arrived from England and South Africa and also toured Victoria as well as taking in a harbour tour. While we were enduring the hot, humid weather, Victoria was experiencing some rain but mostly cooler weather that made their visit quite comfortable and enjoy- able. and We have concerns this week for some of our neighbours who are experiencing health problems and our thoughts go out to them, namely Hak Kim (Don) our store keeper who underwent emergency surgery on the weekend, Bruce Houghland who was a patient in Uxbridge Hospital last week and is presently undergoing tests and treatments at Markham- Stouffville and to Keith Ashton who is undergoing triple bypass surgery this week at Sunnybrook Hospital. Our prayers are with you all as well as others who may be ill.
