Officers were dispatched to a John St. residence on Aug. 13 after thieves entered an unlocked black 1986 Pontiac Firebird sometime between midnight on Aug. 12 and 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 13. Taken during the entry was an Alpine cassette deck, Alpine CD changer, and a quantity of CDs, say police, estimating the stolen goods have a value of $750. A Blackstock man was visiting friends in the area when the theft occurred, police say.
