Young thieves nabbed as they steal cop's barbecue PORT PERRY STAR - Tuesday, September 28, 1999 - 5 A group of young thieves picked the wrong house to steal from when they attempted to take a barbecue from a North St. home recently. Durham Police say that a North St. resident heard a noise outside his home around 11 p.m. on Sept. 8, and, upon looking outside, saw three young males pushing his barbeque down the driveway. | By the time the homeowner got out- side, the three youths were near the municipal buildings with the barbe- . cue.
