Tickets are $12.50 per person and available at Wanamaker's store in Seagrave. Robinglade Women's Group meets this week, Thursday evening at the home of Joyce Beauchamp. Members are reminded to take their own mug and $2 for the 50/50 draw. Seagrave Fellowship Sisters Annual Christmas Dinner and Gift Exchange is here. Friday night, Nov. 26 at the Kinsmen Hall in Port Perry with a cost of $15 per person plus your pot luck dish. Members are remind- ed to take their gift to their fel- lowship sister clearly marked 40 whom and from whom. New members are welcome and do not pay the $15. Robinglade ladies attended a nice baby shower for Jamie, daughter of Claude and Sandie McDonald. A beautiful stroller, loaded with gifts was presented to Jamie and baby daughter Avery. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon visit and lunch. Best wishes to many in the community who at this time are not enjoying the best of health. Don't forget - the big guy in red, yes Santa himself will be at Wanamaker's store in Seagrave on Saturday, Dec. 4. There will be a planning meeting on Monday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the church for the Christmas Eve service, which will be at the Seagrave Church this year. At the church service on Sunday morning the choir sang "When Jesus Comes To Be Baptized." Rev. Carson spoke to the children about Baptism. Bill and Kathy Sutherland pre- sented their children, Collette Elizabeth and Brock William for Baptism. Chambers presented their daughter, Cassandra Marjorie for Baptism. Kate McDonald presented a certificate of Baptism and a candle to their children. Amanda Hill read the scripture from Matthew 25 vs 31 to 45. Rev. Carson's sermon was "Responsibility and Hope." There is value in what we are doing in our rural communities. God is close. Next Sunday is the first Advent Sunday and also com- munion at 10 a.m. Get well wishes are extended to Jeffrey Blair who is in Port Perry hospital after having his appendix removed. Hope you're feeling 100 per cent soon Jeff. This Friday is a P.A. for many Seagrave students so dri- vers beware as there could be children around at any time of the day. That's all for this week. A portion of proceeds will be directed to charities.
