Durham Regional Police Constable Mark Glionna was travelling eastbound on Regional Rd. 21 when he spotted a green 1993 Honda Civic driving in what police reports described as an erratic manner. After following the vehi- cle the officer called in the report on his cell phone. When the vehicle came to a stop at the traffic lights located at Hwy 7A and Simcoe St. in Port Perry the officer approached the vehicle and identified him- self as an officer. The driver of the vehicle was held until a duty Sergeant attended and was transported to North Durham's 26 Division office. Charged with one count each of impaired driving, exceeding the legal blood- alcohol limit, breach of pro- bation, possession of a controlled substance and driving without a license is a 35-year-old male from Port Perry.
