PORT PERRY "WEEKEND STAR" Festival time Organizers gearing up for annual Sunderland bash Vendors and contes- tants are being sought to join in the fun at the fifth annual Sunderland Maple Syrup Festival on April | and 2. Talent Show There's no business like show business and you will have your chance to strut your stuff onstage at the second annual talent contest. It will be held from Il am. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 2. The organizers are seeking children and adults to fill categories ranging from singing to dancing to playing instru- ments. Three people entered the Pioneer gas bar shortly before 9 a.m. on Jan. 31 and asked to use the phone, police say. When they left, it was discovered that $200 was missing from the till. The suspects are described as one white male, one black male, and one white female. They drove off in a red Chrysler vehicle, say police.
