Foote will once again offer a 10 week series of high energy act- ing classes. The Director of Film and Television at the Trebas Institute in Toronto and film critic for The Weekend Star, Mr. Foote is also an award winning stage director, and lecturer on method acting. His workshops for chil- dren aged seven to 12 have been enormously popular over the last three years. The session begins Tuesday, March 21, run- ning 10 consecutive Tuesdays. Classes begin at 7 p.m. and run to 8 p.m. The one hour session is a high energy creative workout for kids where they learn to improvise in sketches, interact with oth- ers, and create characters with little or no prepara- tion time. Mr. Foote believes the classes harness creative energy and allow the kids to use their fertile imagi- nations to both create and have fun doing so.
