This system lets hunters both purchase a Resident's Deer Licence and enter the Antlerless Deer Draw with one phone call. The telephone licensing system allows hunters to apply from a touch-tone telephone 24 hours a day, seven days a week from June 15 until the draw entry deadline of 11:55 pm. (EDT) Monday, July 31. The tele- phone number is 1-800- 288-1155. Hunters will need a valid 15 digit hunting version Outdoors Card number, a valid Visa or Mastercard number, choices of Wildlife Management Units (WMU) and a touch-tone tele- phone. The Ontario Hunting Regulations Summary provides step- by-step instructions for completing an application by telephone. While the telephone licensing system is more convenient for both hunters and the ministry, applicants may still purchase a licence and submit a paper appli- cation to enter the draw if they wish.
