) FRIDAY, JUNE 23, 2000 The Brooklin Redmen held their annual Scott McMichael Minor Lacrosse Night and hosted the Akwesasne Thunder for an important contest to determine first place in the Major Series. The game was delayed almost one hour due to the absence of one of the on-floor officials. Once the game was underway, the Redmen wasted no time in set- ting the pace for the night. Goals | by Glenn Clark, Darryl Gibson and Gary Rosyski set the tone as the Redmen took a three-goal lead. The Redmen outscored the visitors 4-2 in the second frame. The second period saw Glenn . Clark score his second and third of the night for a hat trick. The one fight of the night also took place in the second when Scott MacDonnell and Jeremy Hollenbeck squared off toe to toe. The Redmen outscored Akwesasne 6-3 in the third and were able to put together a hard fought 18-8 victory to put their record at 5-3 on the season.
