A draft terms of reference setting out the framework for the operation of the EAC has been developed as a starting point for discussion. To assist in refining the terms of refer- ence, interested parties are invited to submit written comments to Mr. Chris Darling, the EAC coordinator. Copies of the draft terms of reference and related background information are available from the regional planning department during regular business hours - 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and can also be viewed on the regional web site at www.region.durham.on.ca. Also, a facilitated one-day workshop is being arranged for Saturday, Sept. 23 as a forum for further public input on this issue. Please confirm your interest in attending this workshop either by writing to or contacting the EAC coordinator.
