The group On: Wednesday, Oct. 11 in the kitchen made one the Durham East 4-H Milk Makes It Better Club held their second meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Blackstock United Church. We 'said the 4-H pledge and answered the roll call.. The roll call was "What did you do for a home actiyity and what kind of milk does your family use and how do they use it?" Then the min-- utes were read by our sec- retary Mary Van. Camp and adopted and seconded by Natalie = Beechey and Matthew Rickey. Then our leaders split us up into two groups. One group went into the kitchen and 'made chocolate pud- ding while the other group tasted six different kinds of milk. The kinds of milk we tasted were: homo, 2 per. kitchen Pasta. + Then we took a quiz on batch of pudding in the microwave and one batch on the stove. Then the two groups 'switched and the group that went into "the made: milk and filled out a sheet _about the key nutrients found in milk and milk products. The sheet told us- what nutrients are found in milk and what they provide us with. Before we closed the meeting we got to taste the pudding and noodles we made. Then our presi- dent' Janice =Kadowaki closed the meeting.
