Conrad Boyce, who once again takes up direc- tor's duties, is excited about UMT's latest musi- cal gala. "It's a magical show, and we've assembled a superb 42-person (show)," Mr. Boyce said. Starring as Nurse Nellie is Lisa Young, a vet- eran of Scugog Choral Society shows making her Uxbridge Musical Theatre debut and as Emile the French planter will be Terry Paul of Sunderland. Terry is a fixture at UMT since his lead in the recent production of "Annie". Tickets for the produc- tion of "South Pacific" can be purchased at Blue Heron Books in Uxbridge and The Wee Tartan Shop in Port Perry. Performances are set to run January 18 to 20 and Jan. 25 to 27 with matinees on the 20th and 27th. New display opens Saturday On Jan. 13 "Other Realms: The Imagination of the Artist" by Paul Livingston will begin the new year at the Kent Farndale Gallery, 231 Water Street in the Scugog Library in Port Perry.
