Excuses range from "being late for work" to "everyone else is just too slow." Drivers were charged with speeds rang- ing from 159 km/hour to 204 km/hour. speeding (radar), 223; speeding (non-radar), 36; careless driving, 15; follow too closely, 8; lane viola- tions, 19; and other moving violations, 25.
